How do I retrieve my tax invoice?
Your tax invoice can be accessed via the BYOD portal: Education - JB Hi-Fi Education. Follow the link, fill in your Order Confirmation Number and Mobile/Phone Number linked to the order under the "Check your order information" field. You will then be able to view and download your tax invoice. Your tax invoice will also be emailed to you following dispatch of your Goods. 
How will I know when my order is ready to collect at school?
Once your order has been delivered to the school and is ready for collection, the school will contact you directly with collection details. Please wait to hear from your school before attending to collect your order.
Do I need to be home to accept my delivery?
Yes, all home deliveries for BYOD devices require a signature upon delivery. If you are not home, the courier may attempt a delivery the following day, or your shipment may be redirected to an alternate collection point such as newsagent.
Can someone else collect my order on my behalf?
If you’re unable to collect your order yourself, you can nominate another person to collect it on your behalf. Please, email byodsupport@jbhifi.com.au with your order number and the details (full name) of the nominated person. Ensure they bring a valid photo ID instore at time of collection.
I've seen my item cheaper elsewhere, do you price match?
At JB Hi-Fi Education, we always aim to offer commercial pricing for great value to our customers. Most of our devices are education specific that come with tailored software and configurations designed for school use, therefore the price listed online for these devices is final.
I ordered the wrong device; can I return it?
Returns to JB Hi-Fi Education will only be accepted by JB Hi-Fi Education if the goods are in saleable condition (as reasonably determined by JB Hi-Fi Education) upon return of the goods and provided the goods are and remain sealed in the manner in which they were delivered or purchased. Please contact our customer service team at byodsupport@jbhifi.com.au with photos to start the return process. Once we have received the returned device and refunded you the value of the order, you can place a replacement order online.
Please note that change of mind on opened devices are not eligible for return.
When can I expect to receive my order?
You will receive an estimated date of delivery or collection at check-out. Please refer to your order confirmation email for the date. If this date has passed and you haven’t received your order, please contact our customer service team on 1300 746 752 or via byodsupport@jbhifi.com.au for an update.
What software is required?
There can be different pieces of software that are required on your device for your child. However, your school decides what software they require. A majority of the time, this information will be provided from the school as part of your child's Book List or other paperwork.
Sometimes, the software required is included as part of the agreement with the School, but we are not aware of which schools will offer this. Therefore, we suggest getting in touch with your school for more information about any software requirements.
I’d like to buy an accessory but I’ve already placed my order, how can I buy one from you?
If you forgot to choose an accessory to your order, we are unable to have one added to your purchase. The good news is that we offer a limited selection of accessories for purchase via our open portal. Please contact our Customer Service Team to find out more via our Contact Us page.
When will I be able to pick up my order?
You will be able to pick up your order from either a Store or School once the notification advising the order is ready to be collected, has been sent to you.
If you’d like to check the status of your order, you can do so by entering your Order Confirmation Number and Phone number under ‘Check Your Order Status’ at https://byod.jbhifi.education

How do I know my credit card information is safe?
Your credit card details are safe, as we use an industry-standard platform to transact all credit card payments. It is a highly secure system and all details submitted are encrypted.
We do not retain any credit card numbers and your information is safe.
Can I pay for my BYOD order with JB Hi-Fi Gift Cards?
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept JB Hi-Fi Gift Cards as a payment method for your BYOD order.
What payment options do you accept?
We currently accept Credit Card and PayPal payment options for your BYOD purchase.
You can elect to pay 'upfront' by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). Unless otherwise stated, full payment will be taken from your card when you select this option during checkout.
Visa prepaid cards are not accepted. For buy now, pay later options, we will be partnering soon with Afterpay and Zip to offer you choice and flexibility.
Do you charge Credit Card Fees?
For all BYOD Orders that are placed via a Credit Card, we do not charge or add on any extra Credit Card Fees to your transaction. Regardless of the Credit Card Issuer (Visa/Mastercard/etc.), no Credit Card Processing Fees are added on by JB Hi-Fi BYOD.
Please note, this does not take into consideration any fees that your Credit Card issuer may implement or add on to a transaction when you utilise their service, as per any agreements between yourself and the Card Issuer. For more information about this, we suggest contacting your Credit Card issuer directly.

How do I log a warranty or insurance claim?
- Visit https://productcare.jbeducation.com.au/
- Submit the details of your claim
- Once submitted, you should receive a notification email confirming receipt.
- A member of our warranty service team will then contact you to determine if it is a hardware fault and then arrange repair of the faulty unit.

How do I make a service request on my JB Hi-Fi Tech Care+ plan?
I forgot to purchase Extended Warranty/Insurance. Can I add this to my order?
If you have forgotten to purchase an Extended Warranty for your device, unfortunately, you cannot add Extended Warranty to an order after it has been placed.
However, if you have just placed your order and would like to add or change Extended Warranty coverage, you can request to cancel your existing order and create a new one with the desired coverage included. If your order has been shipped or is due to be shipped out within the next few days, it may be too late to cancel.
If you have forgotten to purchase Insurance for your device, we are able to assist you in adding on the Insurance Policy to your order after placement, however, this is within a 45-day period after placing your order. Before contacting our Customer Service Team to assist in adding an Insurance Policy to your order, please check your school's portal for available options for your device and have the information handy on which Insurance Policy you would like to add.

My child’s device is having technical problems, what do I do?
If your child is having technical problems with their device, we understand that this can cause an issue with your child's learning. It’s always very stressful when technology doesn’t work the way it should. That’s why we aim to make it as easy as possible to have your child’s device assessed/repaired.
Often, the best resolution is to bring your device to your school’s IT department. Staff will assess the device, and if necessary, they can assist in lodging a warranty claim on your behalf.
If this is not possible, we suggest contacting the manufacturer directly for assistance.
We recommend visiting our Support Page (www.jbeducation.com.au/support), where you will find contact information for each supplier, as well as policy information for your coverage.
Many manufacturers have dedicated support centres designed specifically to deal with issues in relation to their products and may even provide in-home support and advanced troubleshooting. In many circumstances, the manufacturer may therefore be able to provide a quicker assessment of, and remedy for, any issue with your product, even if the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

My child’s device has been damaged, lost or stolen
If your child's device has been damaged, lost or stolen, you may be able to utilise the insurance coverage that was purchased at the same time as checking out your device.

How can I cancel my BYOD order?
If you need to cancel your BYOD order for any reason, please contact our BYOD Customer Service Team via our Contact Us page.
